Statoil’s Peregrino First Oil Seminar

Celebrating the first oil produced from the Peregrino field, Statoil held the ‘Peregrino First Oil Seminar’ at the Copacabana Palace Hotel on Wednesday, May 25. 300 guests from the oil and gas industry were in attendance. The Peregrino field development off the coast of Brazil is Statoil’s biggest and most important project outside of Norway, and it is operated in cooperation with Petrobras.

Celebrating Norway Day 2011

In Norway residents took part in celebratory parades on Norwegian Constitutional Day, while in Rio, Norwegians celebrated the big day with a festive and informative morning event organized by the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (NBCC). Some hundred Norwegian and Brazilian guests – including top representatives of Norwegian and Brazilian companies – first enjoyed an abundance of delicious Norwegian food and drinks, and then attended a business seminar with high-level speakers.
